EFO Media was recently asked to design a USA Today newspaper ad for the El Paso Zoo and Botanical Gardens to promote the upcoming opening of their new Magellanic Penguin installation. We quickly decided the solution was to engage the publication's national readership with a clean bold visual asking a simple "WHAT AM I?" question. The reader would then be prompted to find the answer by scanning a QR Code which links them to an online guessing game microsite. This micro-website, developed by EFO Media, mimics the existing look of the El Paso Zoo website and also allows us to gauge the effectiveness of the newspaper ad through visitor tracking analytics.
